Easy Vegan Christmas Dessert: Vegan Cinnamon toast rolls
I can tell what you're thinking – cinnamon toast rolls, what are those? Well, they're pretty much like rolled-up French toast. They're yummy and full of delicious, Christmassy flavors. Making them is super easy and quick. Take some white bread, spread chocolate granola butter (or vegan Nutella) on it, dip it in oat milk, then in cinnamon sugar, and fry it in plant butter. They're crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside.
Vegan Cinnamon Toast rolls
Prep-Time: 2 mins
Baking Time: 10 mins
Amount: 12 rolls
Ingredients
12 pieces of white toast
1/2 cup white sugar
5 tbsp cinnamon (the more the better)
1/2 cup oat milk
2 tbsp plant butter
6 tbsp (ish) chocolate granola butter (I used oatavenue)
Instructions
1. Start by cutting the crust off of all the bread slices, then flatten each piece with a rolling pin.
2. Add about 1 tbsp of granola butter to each piece of bread, roll it up and continue doing this with the rest of the pieces.
3. Dip the rolls in oat milk, followed by cinnamon sugar and fry in plant butter until golden brown. Keep flipping them to make sure all sides are nicely cooked.
4. Enjoy with cinnamon sugar on top. I added a drizzle of vegan nutella and icing on top (I know I know, its a lot of sugar but damn it was good).
