VEGAN HEART PANCAKES

Celebrate Valentine's Day or Pancake Day with these sweet and fluffy vegan heart pancakes.

Prep-time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 10-15 minutes

Servings: 4-5 pancakes



INGREDIENTS

  • 125g plain flour

  • 1 tbsp white sugar

  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 150ml oat milk

  • 1-2 tbsp granola butter (I used the chai one from oatavenue)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp melted butter or neutral vegetable oil

  • 1 tbsp sprinkles (optional topping)

Granola Butter Syrup:

  • 1 tsp chai granola butter from Oat Avenue

  • 2 tbsp syrup



INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add all the dry ingredients to a bowl, and give it a whisk. Then add the rest and mix until completely smooth. Let it sit for 5 minutes.


2. Add butter or oil to a pan and add 2 tbsp worth of batter to shape half the heart.

Do the same with the other half (watch the video if you’re in doubt).


3. Cook the pancakes on low heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side.


4. Enjoy with granola butter syrup and sprinkles on top.
